4th edition of the Li Junchi Green Festival

Surfing at Badesi in the North of Sardegna

The North of Sardinia sees the start of the countdown for champion surfers and enthusiasts alike as they vie for the crown of King ofLi Junchi 2014, the trophy at the GreenFestival, now in its fourth edition.
The BadesiLong Board Green Festival returns this year to the endless beach atLi Junchi, the pearl of the Golfo dell’Asinara and renowned for its wild charm. The waiting period began on August 5^th and will last until the much awaited green light is given when the weather conditions will be ideal and the perfect wave will eventually emerge from the sea.

An exciting contest between waves, surf, music and much more, valid as the third legof the Italian Fisurf Longboard Championship. The most experienced surfers on the Italian and international scene are anxiously awaiting ideal weather to deliver another thrilling spectacle and breathtaking performances.

Marco Pistidda, winner of the first two editions of the Li Junchi Green Festival will be one of the big names, as well as many new faces in surfing who will try to snatch the trophy from the hands of the defending champion Airton Cozzolino, a young Capo Verde athlete who is already a kitesurf champion. A challenge down to the last wave on which to show their skills by providing moments of pure adrenaline to the many spectators who gather each year at Badesi especially for the occasion.
Sport, entertainment and sharing together are the basic ingredients of this event enriched by the beauty and charm of Northern Sardinia.
